Tyrant is an American political drama television series created by director and writer Gideon Raff (HOMELAND) and developed by Howard Gordon and Craig Wright.
The first season of Tyrant consisting of 10 episodes premiered on American cable network FX on June 24, 2014, and ended on August 26, 2014. Subsequently, FX then went on to renew Tyrant for a second season which premiered on June 16, 2015, and ended on September 1, 2015.
